Twelfth Five-Year Key Quanzhou Development Logistics Park to Build the Largest Stone Trade Logistics Market in the Southeast Coast
During the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, the logistics industry has become one of the two new leading industries in our province. Quanzhou will become one of the key logistics node cities in our province. A number of key logistics parks will be newly established.
The reporter learned from the Provincial Development and Reform Commission that the province's modern logistics industry will focus on building a modern logistics center linking the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, speeding up the construction of a modern comprehensive transportation system, strengthening the construction of logistics infrastructure, and optimizing the logistics industry to develop a soft and hard environment. Our province plans to focus on creating three major cities, such as logistics hub cities, and build a number of land ports such as Jinjiang, Nanping, Longyan and Sanming.
In Quanzhou, a batch of key logistics parks will be built during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period. The city will take advantage of port resources and use ports as hubs to build multiple logistics parks. Among the key projects under construction this year, the Jinjiang warehousing logistics project will build Jinjiang Zhendong Storage Center, Jinjiang Kuixing Warehousing and Logistics Distribution Center, Jinjiang Jinjiang Warehousing and Logistics Project, and the Straits West Coast International Procurement and Regional Logistics Center Phase I; the Nan'an Logistics Market Project will be built. Nanan Guanyinshan Modern Logistics Industry Base, Nanan Zhongguang Stone Logistics Project, Nanan Guanqiao China Grain City, and China Plumbing City Phase III.
Among the warehousing and logistics projects that will be fully started this year, there are Shihu Port District Stone Logistics Park and Shishi Yijia Warehouse Logistics Distribution Center. The Stone Logistics Park in Shihu Port Area of ​​Quanzhou is listed by the provincial government as “Model Logistics Project on the West Bank of the Straits” and will become the largest stone trade logistics market in the southeast coast. The total investment of this project is 270 million yuan, and the planned construction scale is 1000 acres.
At the same time, a group of speciali.zed logistics centers and distribution centers, such as equipment manufacturing, petrochemicals, building materials, and textiles, will be located in counties (cities, districts) in the city. The provincial government also plans to speed up the introduction and cultivation of modern logistics companies, and improve the electronic information, equipment manufacturing, petrochemical and other advantageous industrial clusters and bulk product logistics service system.
